Kelsey Cardin, LCSW
Therapist &
Practice Owner
Navigating an interracial relationship can present unique challenges and opportunities for growth. As a therapist experienced in working with interracial couples, I understand the importance of acknowledging and addressing cultural differences and the impact of societal attitudes. We will build communication skills, cultural competence, and validation techniques in session. Together, we can create a supportive environment where both partners feel heard, respected, and valued, fostering a deeper connection and mutual understanding.
Processing traumatic events can be difficult at any age. I get it. I know you want to move forward, but may struggle with flashbacks, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. We can work together so you have the skills to cope with the events that have led you here. In my office, you will feel valued and comforted in knowing you have landed with a therapist who values who you truly are and recognizes your strengths. Wherever you are on the journey of overcoming the past, know I will be there to ensure you aren’t alone.
I thrive when working with individuals and couples who are looking to find their purpose, , process relational issues and/or divorce, heal from abuse (physical, emotional, neglect, & narcissistic), and deeper their connections.
In my free time, I love to thrift, travel, propagate plants, and try every coffee shop to find the best. I’m also an enneagram 2!
I can’t wait to meet you and be a part of your supportive circle
Julianna Hull , Master's Level Social Work Intern
Julianna is a Master’s level intern studying clinical social work at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Middle Tennessee State University and is set to graduate with my MSSW this May 2026. She is passionate about working with all populations, including teens, young adults, adults, military, and faith-based clients. Some of her background experience includes military service, ministry work, clinical counseling at a community-based mental health facility, and psychiatric inpatient work with adolescents.
Fun Fact: Her hobbies include gardening, playing sports, singing, and being in a book club. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends the most!
Therapy Belief: Every person should have a place where they feel heard, seen, and valued. I take a client-centered approach and am here to meet people where they’re at, listen to their story, and be a safe place for people to process trauma and everyday struggles.
