Hi, I’m Dez!
I am a Western Kentucky University alum and current student at Southern New Hampshire University pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adults while helping clients navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and encouraging environment. My background experience includes working in acute crisis care through stabilization units and inpatient hospital settings, where I have supported individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges and emotional distress.
I take an Adlerian and person-centered approach to counseling and value helping clients build confidence, resilience, and self-awareness while working through challenges. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while learning healthy ways to cope, grow, and move forward through difficult seasons of life.
Fun Fact: I enjoy watching sports, especially women’s basketball, and spending quality time with friends.
