Adam Chalifour, Intern Therapist at Solace & Sol Therapy

Hello, I’m Adam!

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University and am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Merrimack College. My background includes working in adult crisis stabilization, where I supported individuals experiencing significant mental health challenges and emotional distress.

My approach to counseling is grounded in person-centered and existential therapy. I believe each person deserves to be met as an individual, with their own story, strengths, and struggles. My goal is to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported as they work through challenges, explore who they are, and find meaning in their lives.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy fitness activities like weight lifting, hiking, and skiing. My main hobby is playing video games, which is actually how I met my current girlfriend, and I also recently started playing Dungeons & Dragons.

Though I’m early on in my counseling career and absolutely still have growing to do as a therapist, my goals are clear: to help people find themselves again. It’s too easy to lose track of who you are and what is most important to you as you go through the challenges that life has a way of always throwing at you. Together, we can begin the process of finding your way back to yourself.
